Home/Services/Technical Services

An expert on your side of the transaction.

One event at a time — pre-purchase inspection oversight, owner’s technical representation, forensic records audits, delivery acceptance, site surveys and per-event maintenance. Gulfstream only. Often the first job before a management agreement.

Buyers & brokers

Someone technical who answers to you

Pre-buy oversight and a records audit before money moves — the inspecting facility works for the seller’s schedule; we work for you.

Owners between events

Technical representation without a retainer

A delivery, an audit, a survey or a scoped repair — expert hands for the event, then we step back.

Flight departments

Overflow and second opinions

Per-event field maintenance, condition reports and records work when the department is short a set of hands.

Tier 02 · Per event

Five ways we show up for one job.

Each engagement is scoped, quoted and documented on its own. Every one ends with a written deliverable and an entry in the aircraft’s record.

01

Pre-purchase inspection oversight & owner’s representation

A pre-buy is a records audit with an airframe attached. We review the logbooks and AD status before the aircraft moves, set the inspection scope with the facility, stand beside the inspection, and separate airworthiness findings from negotiating points — from letter of intent to closing.

For buyers, brokers, buyer’s counsel and family offices acquiring a Gulfstream.

What it covers

  • Records-first review logbooks, AD status, LLP and inspection history before the PPI starts
  • Scope & facility inspection scope set with the facility; quotes and findings reviewed line by line
  • On-site oversight present for the inspection, borescope and functional checks
  • Discrepancy register airworthiness items vs. negotiable items, with cost context
  • Closing support return-to-service documentation and open items tracked to delivery

Forensic records & logbook audit

What an aircraft is worth is decided by its records. We reconstruct the maintenance history from the logbooks, work orders, 8130s and AD compliance — and tell you plainly what is complete, what is missing, and what it will cost to make right.

For buyers, sellers preparing to list, insurers and owners who inherited a paper trail.

What it covers

  • Logbook reconciliation airframe, engine and APU books against work orders and 8130s
  • AD & inspection status compliance verified item by item, not taken from the last summary
  • Gaps & exposure missing entries, unsupported parts, open items — ranked by consequence
  • Digital archive the reviewed record captured in IronFleet aviOS, searchable from day one

New-aircraft delivery & acceptance

The aircraft you sign for should be the aircraft you were promised. We represent you through pre-delivery inspection, acceptance flights and the paperwork — so open items are closed before the tail changes hands, not discovered at the first input.

For owners and flight departments taking delivery of a new or newly refurbished aircraft.

What it covers

  • Pre-delivery inspection on-site at the completion centre or OEM
  • Acceptance flight squawks captured, closed or carried with agreement
  • Documentation records, warranties and conformity reviewed before signature
  • Turnover the aircraft handed to your operation with a clean, current record

Site surveys & condition reports

A technical read on an aircraft, a facility or a program before you commit. Condition, tooling, readiness and risk — written up so a non-technical decision-maker can act on it.

For operators evaluating an aircraft, a base or a vendor; management companies onboarding a tail.

What it covers

  • Aircraft condition report airframe, systems, cabin and records at a point in time
  • Facility & tooling assessment readiness for the work you intend to send there
  • Program review is the maintenance plan current, complete and being followed
  • Recommendations what to fix, what to negotiate, what to walk away from

Per-event maintenance on your ramp

Calendar and hourly items, light scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and scoped repairs — performed at your home base by the same A&P who scoped the job. No ferry flight, no waiting for a slot.

For Part 91 and Part 135 Gulfstream operators who want the work done where the aircraft lives.

What it covers

  • Calendar & hourly inspections light scheduled maintenance with parts planning and coordination
  • Troubleshooting & repair systems, avionics and electrical, scoped before parts ship
  • AD compliance performed and recorded against the aircraft
  • Return to service sign-off and logbook entry; record captured in aviOS

How we think about it

The airframe tells you what the aircraft is today. The logbooks tell you what it will cost.

Most pre-buys start with the inspection and get to the records last. We run it the other way round: the paper first, because that is where the surprises live and where the money changes hands.

Every technical-services engagement ends the same way — a written deliverable you can hand to counsel, an insurer or the next owner, and a record of the event captured in IronFleet aviOS against the tail number.

How it runs

Scoped, quoted, done, documented.

01

Tell us the aircraft

Model, serial, where it is, what the event is. A ten-minute call is usually enough to scope it.

02

Scope & quote

Written scope and quote, normally within 24–48 hours. Travel and expenses itemised.

03

The work

On site or at the facility. You hear from us as findings surface, not at the end.

04

Deliverable & record

Written report in your hands; the event captured in aviOS against the aircraft.

Questions

What buyers ask first.

Anything not covered, call the hotline or send the form.

Can you oversee a PPI at a facility I did not choose?

Yes. Most pre-buys happen at a facility chosen by the seller or the broker. We work with the facility on scope and findings and report to you — our only client in the transaction is the buyer.

What do you need to start a records audit?

Tail or serial number, the current status report if one exists, and access to the logbooks and work-order files — paper, scans or a records platform. We tell you within a day whether the set is complete enough to audit.

Do you work on anything other than Gulfstream?

No. GIV through G800, including the G280 family. If the aircraft is something else we will say so and point you to someone good.

Does a technical-services job commit me to a management agreement?

No. Each event stands alone. Many owners start with a pre-buy or a records audit and move to management later; plenty do not.

How is it priced?

Per event, in writing, before we mobilise. Owner’s representation and oversight are day-rated; audits, deliveries and surveys are scoped per aircraft. Travel is itemised. Managed aircraft receive the managed rate.

Next step

Tell us the aircraft and the event.

Scope and quote in writing, normally within 24–48 hours. If the aircraft is on the ground now, skip the form and call.
